Terms of Use

These terms apply to using MCC TASK, run by MCC VENTURE (“we”) – on mcctask.com and in the apps for iOS, iPadOS, macOS and Android. By signing up or signing in, you agree to them.

1. Account and workspace

• An account is created by signing up (we approve every sign-up) or by an invitation from a team admin. Give true details when you sign up.
• Every team works in its own workspace. Its admins manage members, guests and projects and are responsible for whom they invite.
• Keep your account safe – never share sign-in codes or passkeys.

2. Content and chat rules

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. In tasks, comments, notebooks and the chat you must not post or send:

• harassment, threats, bullying, hateful or discriminatory content,
• sexually explicit, violent or otherwise offensive content,
• illegal content, content that infringes others’ rights (including copyright and privacy) or other people’s personal data without permission,
• spam, scams, malicious files or links.

3. Reporting and blocking

• You can report any chat message (long-press it or open its menu → Report). Reports go to your team’s admins and to us.
• You can block a user – you no longer see their messages and they cannot write to you.
• We review reported content within 24 hours. We remove objectionable content and may block or close the account of a user who broke these rules.
• You can also report objectionable content or behaviour at task@mccventure.com.

4. Your content

The content you create belongs to you or your team. We use it only to run the service – see the privacy policy. You are responsible for the content you put into the service.

5. Closing an account

You can delete your account any time in the app’s Settings. If these terms are broken, we may suspend or close an account, usually after a warning; in serious cases without one.

6. Liability

We provide the service as it is and keep improving it. We aim for continuous operation and data security but cannot guarantee that the service is always available and free of errors. We are not liable for indirect damage to the extent the law allows.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; we will tell you about important changes in advance in the app or by e-mail. Questions: task@mccventure.com.
